In a dystopian future, Killy traverses a vast, chaotic megastructure known as "The City" in search of humans possessing the Net Terminal Gene—a genetic marker that allows access to the Netsphere, a network controlling the City. Without this gene, humanity has lost control over the City's expansion and its defense systems, leading to a perilous journey through a world filled with rogue AI, cyborgs, and other threats.
